Cole is a born and raised North Carolinian whose year living in the Virginia mountains was formative in his approach to writing. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a dual major in English and Comparative Literature and Political Science. He currently resides in North Carolina where he works in collegiate athletics communications.
